Outdoor Tv
I bought this tv to put on my back porch. I was really just trying to buy a cheap tv in case something happened to it i.e. weather. When purchasing I was in no way interested in picture quality. This tv has been a pleasant surprise. This is a good tv that I consider a great tv when price is taken into consideration.

Nice picture, poor reception
I used this TV to replace a 26-inch RCA LCD HDTV. The picture is better, clearer, richer colors, etc. But the TV reception is weak.

I'm using a roof-top TV antenna (sick of paying for cable). The RCA pulled in about 15 stations. My Philips downstairs pulls in 21. The Viore, using the same antenna, only pulls in 5 stations.

It's OK, since I mainly use it to watch movies from DVD, but I wouldn't recommend this unit if one was planning on using it with an antenna for watching broadcast TV.

It's ok.
A great HDTV for gaming,computer monitor,and Movies.

NOTE/WARNING:NOT A GOOD HDTV FOR REGULAR USE.SOME CHANNELS WILL BE CUT.YOU WILL KNOW WHAT I MEAN ONCE YOU BUY THIS TV.I USE IT MOST OF THE TIME FOR GAMING AND IT IS GREAT. OVERALL, IT IS WORTH IT FOR ITS PRICE.ALTHOUGH I DON'T SUGGEST IT AS A LIVING ROOM TV.IT'S MORE OF A TV FOR A DORMROOM/BEDROOM.

You get what you pay for...
Ok, so you see a 26 inch 1080p television with two hdmi slots for 250 dollars and see several 24 inch tvs slightly more expensive and most are only 720p. You also see 32 inch 720p tvs for 350 and up. So you say what have I got to lose? You read as many reviews as you can, some bad, some good and you feel doubts when reading some of the complaints but then after days and/or weeks of mind wrenching searching you always had this 26 inch cheap tv in your mind. You've never heard of the brand. You've read bad things about it; it has an ugly red stripe, cable companies remotes dont work with it, it's not true 16:9 format. Yea you read all this and say those aren't big enough issues to stop me from paying 250 dollars for a flat screen 1080p 2 hdmi slot 26 inch tv. So you dive in. Excitement fills your body. You get overjoyed knowing that your tv is purchased and on the way. You stalk the tracking system from the time you buy it until it arrives. When you finally get it you can hardly contain yourself. You say in your mind, "that red stripe isn't so bad." "Who cares that the screen isnt exactly 16:9?" "I only have to use the viore remote for volume and power? Piece of cake." So your satisfied... Weeks later that tv you did so much research on all of a sudden starts to act oddly. It seems as if it wants to give up but then revives itself. You try to think positive like, "That might've been a loose cord." But its not, that 250 dollars you spent thinking you were finding the ultimate deal for a 26 inch 1080p 2 hdmi port tv just went in the garbage. Now you realize the tv is flawed after only 3 weeks. You have to waste your gas to take it back and let it sit in a shop and go back to your old television (if you kept it, I am too careful and cautious not to keep it) hopefully you had a hd tv at least (i dont) or else its back to sd which now sucks turds to look at. They tell you it could take weeks to get it back... Wow. So if you want to spend 250 dollars on a tv with an unsightly red stripe on the bottom, incorrect screen size, incompatible with cable remotes and has even the slightest chance of dying within the first three weeks, go right ahead. Or you can keep watching your old tv and save up some more money and buy a tv that you have no doubts about after days of reviewing. That is all. 2/5 because the price didnt hurt me as much.

Excellent purchase...value and quality top notch
Quality and value of the Viore TV are excellent and dealing with Amazon is efficient...plus the shipping was free. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Excellent value
My criteria for buying a TV was to stay under 0 and a screen size of 42 inches. LED-LCD TV's are priced out of that range right now, so that left LCD's and plasma's. After looking at both technologies, I opted to go with plasma.
LCD contrast ratio 150,000:1 vs. plasma 1 or 2 million to 1.
LCD 60Hz to 120Hz refresh vs. 600Hz plasma
LCD off angle viewing drop off vs. 180 degree viewing for plasma
I have a Vizio 50 inch plasma that I purchased in 2006 that I have had zero problems with. (I paid 00 YIKES)
So given the fact that plasma technology has been around, and the other factors I listed above, I went with
Panasonic plasma. At about 5 feet distance, I could not tell the difference between the 1080p or the 720p sets. The 720p set was about 0 cheaper, so I bought it and have been totally pleased so far. I am pretty picky about the
picture and after some adjusting, the picture looks great! Plus, with the money I saved, I can buy a blu ray player
that can stream web based content. The G25 model offers that capability, but then I would be close to 00, out of my price range.

720P TC P42 C2
This is my 4th Plasma in the family bought for my mom. My first one cost over 00; this one was under 0.00. What an incredible value. I hooked it up to my TV antenna, and the HD pictures have been great. This TV rivals my 00 TV bought a few years back. I also bought the Samsung 42" Plasma for my daughter for around the same price. I want to say that for the money, if you are trying to decide either way, I would let the bottom dollar be your draw your conclusion for they are both nice performers. Be careful while viewing them in stores. I feel the settings can be changed on the TV which can make you think one has a superior picture. Do yourself a favor and look at the same TV in 2 or more stores, and see if the picture don't look different. It might be my imagination, but I felt one store I visited purposely made the picture look bad so you would buy a more expensive TV, and used this as a leader. Don't be fooled. This inexpensive Panasonic looks fabulous in my mom's house.

Great HD on the Cheap!
We have owned this TV for a couple of months now. Lots of research led me to the conclusion that a 720p set would be fine for our viewing habits. We bought this Panasonic because of its low price and positive reviews. It was easy to put the included stand on the TV, and within 20 minutes of getting it home we were enjoying a great HD picture. This Panasonic is our first HDTV and replaced a 26" traditional CRT TV.

We opted for a plasma because we sometimes have guests who sit at an angle to the screen. With plasma, there is no color degradation when viewing off center... every seat is a good seat. Also, plasma does not show motion blur like LCD sets. This blur is noticeable when watching sports on just about every LCD I've seen, even those with 120Hz refresh rates. I have yet to experience this with our plasma TV. One drawback to the TC-P42C2 is that the screen is very reflective, but no more so than our old SD TV. Since the screen is so much bigger than what we were accustomed to the reflection issue was noticeable. The only adjustement we neded to make was to use the other table lamp in the family room when watching TV after dark.

The picture is wonderful on HD sources, and is very good on SD programs as well. We have Dish Network and an off-the-air antenna. Broadcast HD looks awesome and Dish HD is excellent. While we are now getting used to watching HD, when we first got this TV we would watch reruns of the CSI shows just to see the cityscapes in HD. We still throw out a "Wow" now and then when a program has a panoramic nature scene. We are more than happy with this TV's picture.

The sound from the TC-P42C2 is very good. I was originally concerned that having speakers that didn't face forward would affect sound quality, but I have found the sound to be quite good on this TV. On some shows I need to turn the volume up, but it varies according to the signal provided by the channel. For example, our local PBS channel has much more volume when watched off-the-air than when viewing on the Dish box. Overall, most of our viewing is done with the TV's volume in the 30-40 range.

One drawback is that this TV only has 2 HDMI ports. We currently have our Dish DVR and our DVD home theater system (which upscales to 1080i)connected via HDMI. When we add a Blu-ray player, I will switch the home theater to the component inputs on the TV and connect the Blu-ray to the HDMI input. A third HDMI port would have been nice, but for this price point I really can't complain too much.

The best thing about this TV is the bang for the buck. This Panasonic offers a lot of quality and features for not much cash. When someone comes over and sees this thing for the first time, they always comment about how good the picture is. When they ask how much we paid for it, they are shocked that a picture this good could cost just 0. We are very happy with our TC-P42C2.

Good but not great.
I bought this TV on sale at K-mart about a month ago. I have been quite pleased with the picture and sound. As of late, I have noticed a strange pixel blur on solid color back grounds. I have tried to change channels when I see it, to see if it is on all channels, but haven't noticed it on the other channel. So I'm not sure if it is in the signal (cable) or if it resets when the channel changes. I guess time will tell. Based on reviews and Panasonic's reputation I bought this product in the box without seeing it on display. After I bought it, I saw it on display at another store, along with several others. My husband was with me and noted it was the worst picture of the bunch. I am hoping it was just not adjusted correctly and that picture quality had not deteriorated due to the continuous use I'm sure it got as a store display. Before you buy it, look at it next to others, as you can buy similar sets in the same price range that you might like better.

If the pixel issue gets worse I will update my review.

NOT A TRUE HDTV PANASONIC PLASMA
This Model and its previous similar models after mid 2007 The HD channels looks Horrible i do believe that Panasonic is very well aware of it obviously...this unit is more like an EDTV Quality....if you put this model and its 06 models such as the TH-42PX60U you will see the big difference in HD picture Quality...think about it this model TH-42PX60U had an msrp around for 00 and its this new model costs pretty much 9 every where..so do the Math 00 Tv vs a 0 HDTV Panasonic Plasma....you would today's Standard 720 Plasma's will look much better?NO but if you the consumers have a chance to look at Panasonic's 3D Plasma TV's the standard HDTV pictures looks 25% better then its 06 Model and looks 90% Better then Today's model....Spend Few Bucks more get the Sony's LCD Tv's with either Bravia Engine 2 or 3 models which deliver the the most Natural HDTV Experience...Avoid all Samsung's and Low End Panasonics

Excellent TV for the price
I have owned this TV for a couple of months now and have enjoyed it immensely. I love the ability to stream Netflix and Vudu from the TV without an additional box involved and the wireless dongle has excellent signal pickup. The TV gives the user the ability to automatically adjust the picture quality for the ambient light conditions in the room and it also has a very robust set of color and sharpness controls. One down side is it only gives the blue color range, brightness and contrast, no red or green.
With multiple HDMI (4) inputs, composite connections, and a digital optical out, the TV has plenty of options for just about anyone.

What an Upgrade!
I saw this TV model in stores, and really was impressed with the picture quality.

I got on Amazon and was even more impressed with the price it was available at.

I'm now extremely pleased with my purchase. What an upgrade from a 27" 4:3 CRT television, even though I considered that CRT to be really good quality in the picture department. I'm using this TV in a room that gets a lot of daylight via a large patio door. Glare is not an issue, and so much better than with the old CRT.

Sound is pretty good through the built in speakers, although I spend most of the time watching with the sound run through a separate sound system.

The Internet "widgets" are just fluff to me, and I haven't used them. My other equipment already support Netflix and Pandora, which are the two things I ever want to use via my home theater. But I really don't feel like I paid extra for them being on the TV, as other TV's without them, but with comparable reviews to this model, were not significantly different in price.

I like to fiddle with settings, and have to say one thing I wish was better is documentation about all the picture settings available on this TV. There are many settings if you care to dig into them, but the manual does not explain all of them very well. There are also some settings that aren't always available (visible, but grayed out in the menu), but no explanation as to why is given in the manual. But there is a "Picture Wizard" tool built in to the TV, which got the picture pretty close to what I wanted, and I was able to get it the rest of the way on my own.

Overall, I don't think one can go wrong with this television. For the price point, I think it's a winner.

Worth Every Penny
I have had this TV for almost a week now and I have to say that it was worth every penny when I bought it and it looks amazing with an HDMI cable hooked up to it. I mainly use for playing video games and whenever I get my computer put together as well and the wireless on it is really nice as well. I enjoy watching walkthrough of games on youtube and I had to do it on my computer but now that my TV has it, it is very nice. The sound quality for it is pretty good too, its not a really big deal to me about the sound because as long as I can hear it well, thats all that matter to me. Overall, I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a good size TV and at a good deal, this one is too good of a deal to pass up!

just pure Beauty
Great TV, Great Quality, no problems in shipping and paying only 0 i felt like a thief ... only tiny tiny tiny, insignificant detail is that on the stand that comes with the TV it is a little wobbly. but thats due to the epic size and beauty, haha just put it some place you wont bump into.

Very Happy
The ease of use, quality of pix and decent sound make this a winner. A simple dongle is all that"s needed to make it a wireless wonder. No need to have an extra box top to receive netcasts. Love it.

VIZIO M220VA 22 INCH
THIS PRODUCT IS NOT TOO BAD FOR WHAT YOU PAY FOR IT. PICTURE AND VALUE ARE THE BEST QUALITIES, BUT THE SOUND NEEDS TO BE DESIRE. OVERALL I WAS PRETTY SATISFIED WITH IT.VIZIO M220VA 22-inch Full HD 1080p LED LCD HDTV

EXCELENT IMAGE, GREAT PRODUCT FOR THIS COST
THE TRUTH IS A GREAT PRODUCT THAT MEETS SPECIFIED CHARACTERISTICS WITH ALL, there is nothing wrong, great product at an economical price

Great for the money
I like this TV. It has a great picture once you get inside the settings and fine tune the color. The default settings are horrible. The only thing I did not like about it was the sound but if you feed it into a stereo that problem goes away.

VIZIO M220VA REVIEW
Nice thinny with exellent 1080p quality. Easy set up but go easy putting the stand on, the clips could break.
If you have hdmi plugs, use them for best picture quality. The 22inch monitor is small but its perfect for a bedroom or small room. This thinny has LED and LCD so I just had to have it. I know LED's are the newest and price testy so far but this outfit seems to be a great buy.
I recommend another good choice to match this awsume flat screen jewel. Hook a DVD/DVR HDMI/IorP up the unit with the hdmi cables. oooh!!sooo good.
I got a Toshiba DR420 HDMI/1080I dvd player/recorder from Amazon awhile back and love it also.
This dvr/recorder was another great Amazon purchase.
I always return to Amazon before I buy anything. No tax, free shipping, fast delivery and you will always find exactly what you want.

Solid display for direct viewing angle.
A very solid display with good picture - when viewed from directly in front of screen. All LCD displays loose image quality at some angle away from directly in front of the display, but this screen seems to suffer this problem more than average. It's only a minor issue for us, and offset by great picture and great value otherwise.

Superb LCD TV

Review Date: September 16, 2007
Reviewer: lordhoot, Anchorage, Alaska USA
I brought this HDTV even after reading the previous two reviews. Now that I had it for a while, I can say that this one excellent HDTV. I will address the biggest complaint in the two previous reviews, the sound quality. Well, the sound system to this TV will not be overpowering to anyone but it also quite functional. Chances are, if this is your primary TV set, you will have the sound system to go with your HDTV so the TV's audio system would be immaterial. If this is a back-up TV, then the audio system is good enough for casual uses. I live near an airport and major road network and I don't have any problem hearing this TV set. It would be nicer if the speakers were better but it does the job.

On the other hand, the picture quality, colors, contrast and everything else that goes with this type of TV is simply superb. I have tested out many 720p LCD set and I think this one got it all beat. This set also come with a build-in progressive scan DVD player that is tailor made for your DVD collection - that is your regular DVD collection and not the Blu-Ray or HD stuff. If this is your first HDTV buy and you got a large regular DVD collection like I do, then buying this set is definite no-brainer.

So what you have here is a 720p LCD HDTV that is definitely one of the best in its size, with a DVD player to boot and only weakness is that the audio might be slightly underpowered. I still gave it five stars in the end because the audio weakness didn't bother me at all. Of course, my hearing could be better then the previous two reviewers.
Perftect TV for the bedroom

Review Date: January 27, 2008
Reviewer: J. Rose,
I wanted a flat screen with a build in DVD to minimize clutter. The speakers and DVD player are hidden from view.I sampled a number of 26-32 inch TVs at best buy and this TV had the best picture and best black color (from which I gather is a problem with some of the flat screens). All in all a great TV (both functionally and looking).
What Audio Problem?

Review Date: August 6, 2008
Reviewer: G. Williams, New York
I bought this set to hang on the kitchen wall. The convenience of a combined DVD was a major factor in the purchase decision. I'd read the reports criticizing the audio but decided to take a chance and buy it anyway - and I'm glad I did. The audio seems OK to me. Half-volume at 13' away across the other side of the kitchen is more than adequate. Audio quality is also fine. Anywhere near full volume is way too loud. I really don't know what the complaints are about - volume? audio quality? or both? The picture quality is also superb as is often the case with Sharp and the DVD is so user-friendly it's a pleasure to use.
Great Buy

great picture low volume output
